Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has put to rest rumors linking him with a late move away from Italy during the just concluded transfer window.
Reports suggesting a possible switch to the Turkish Super League were unfounded, as no such move was ever considered by the Nigerian international.
The Serie A club has also included Lookman in their UEFA Champions League squad, further caffirming his importance to Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans this season.
In addition, Atalanta did not entertain Bayern Munich’s late approach for a loan deal with an option to buy during the final 48 hours of the transfer window, underlining their firm stance on keeping the in form attacker.
