Promising forward Adozi Justin Chukwudi has sealed a move to Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach, marking a major step forward in his young football career.
Born to a Nigerian father from the Adozi family of Oligie Igbanke in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State and a German mother, the 20-year-old striker has quickly built a reputation as a lethal finisher.
Adozi enjoyed a standout 2024/25 campaign with Sportfreunde Siegen in Germany’s Oberliga Westfalen (fifth tier), where his goals powered the club to promotion into the Regionalliga West (fourth tier). His impressive form drew the attention of Mönchengladbach, who have added him to their B team for the new season.
Capable of leading the line as a traditional No. 9, Adozi is tipped as one to watch.
