Bendel Insurance Head Coach Greg Ikhenoba Suspended Following Poor Run of Form  

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has approved the suspension of Bendel Insurance Head Coach, Greg Ikhenoba, with effect from Monday, October 6, 2025.

According to a statement from the Commission, the decision followed the team’s disappointing performance in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, culminating in a 1–0 home defeat to Nasarawa United in their Matchday 7 fixture at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday.

In the interim, the Edo State Sports Commission Chairman has appointed Coach Baldwin Bazuaye to take charge of the team’s technical crew until further notice, as efforts are made to restore the club’s competitiveness in the league.
