Chelsea will make the trip to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, following Wednesday’s draw.
The Blues secured their spot in the next round with a 2-1 victory over Lincoln City at the LNER Stadium. Tyrique George’s stunning 20-yard effort and Facundo Buonanotte’s first goal for the club proved decisive, despite a determined display from the hosts.
As per Carabao Cup rules, there are no replays in the competition, and extra time only comes into play from the semi-final stage. If the tie is level after 90 minutes, it will be settled by penalties.
The fourth-round fixtures will take place in the week beginning October 27.
