Christantus Uche Completes €20m Move to Crystal Palace

Nigerian forward Christantus Uche has officially left Getafe to join Crystal Palace in a deal worth around €20 million.

 

The 22 year old was initially close to signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers, but negotiations collapsed due to unresolved personal terms. Palace stepped in to match Wolves’ offer, striking a deal that gives Uche his long awaited Premier League move.

 

For Getafe, the transfer brings financial relief and helps resolve pressing registration issues that had prevented several players from featuring in their opening three league games.

Uche has already made a bright start to the 2025/26 season in La Liga, recording one goal and one assist, and will now look to carry that form into England. According to Diario AS, the chance to play European football for the first time in his career was a key factor in his decision.
