Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the departure of long serving chairman Daniel Levy, who stepped down after nearly 25 years at the helm.
Levy, informed of the decision on the morning of the announcement, exits under the influence of majority owners, the Lewis family. His reign saw Spurs transformed off the pitch with the £1bn Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, elite training facilities, and consistent European football.
But on the pitch, the club managed just two trophies, the 2008 League Cup and the 2025 Europa League despite cycling through 13 managers and often facing fan unrest over cautious spending.
In a new structure, Vinai Venkatesham becomes Chief Executive while Peter Charrington takes over as Non Executive Chairman, signaling a fresh direction that prioritizes sporting success alongside business growth.
With investment interest circling from the US and Saudi Arabia, Spurs are entering a new era, one that supporters hope will finally deliver sustained silverware.
