Nasarawa United Unviel New Kits For 2025/26 NPFL Season

Nasarawa United Football Club have unveiled their new kits ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The presentation was held on Friday evening at the official residence of the Nasarawa State Acting Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, in Lafia. The event was attended by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, and other stakeholders.
Club Chairman, Mr. Solomon Babanjah, presented the jerseys produced by China-based sportswear manufacturer Elite King Sports Limited, owned by former Nigerian junior international, Tunde Seun Olokigbe, popularly known as Elite. The company operates branches in Nigeria and other parts of the world.
The newly designed kits, which feature six variations for home, away and neutral games, blend vibrant colours with sleek designs. According to the club’s management, they reflect the identity and values of the Solid Miners.
Speaking at the ceremony, Acting Governor Akabe praised the team’s preparations and wished them success in the new NPFL campaign, which began on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Commissioner Kwanta Yakubu, who led the delegation to the Acting Governor’s residence, said the unveiling underscored the administration’s commitment to sports development under Governor Abdullahi Sule. He expressed confidence that the kits would boost the team’s morale ahead of the season.
Nasarawa United are scheduled to face Niger Tornadoes in a rescheduled Matchday One fixture on Wednesday at the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin. Kick-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
The Solid Miners are currently in closed camping in Abuja and will proceed to Ilorin for the North Central derby clash.
