Promising Nigerian youngster Babatunde Akomodele has completed a move to Belgian outfit RSC Anderlecht’s youth team from Broad City Football Academy, Lagos State.
Akomodele, who shot into the spotlight after being named Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the 2024 Gothia Cup in Sweden, where he represented Sporting Lagos youth side, is set to begin his first football journey in Europe.
The talented player is widely admired for his trademark long throws, which have become a key part of his game and a constant threat to opponents.
Anderlecht, one of Belgium’s most successful clubs, is renowned for its youth development and will now look to polish the Nigerian teenager into a future star.
