Team Lagos maintained its strong showing at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, with impressive performances in the cycling event on Day 2.
In the male category individual time trial (ITT), Ashiru Ibrahim powered to victory to claim the Gold Medal, showcasing stamina and precision on the track.
The female category also produced another golden moment for Lagos as Lamidi Lolade stormed to victory in the individual time trial, earning the Gold Medal for her team.
The back-to-back triumphs underline Lagos’ dominance in cycling at this year’s Games as the team continues its chase for more medals.
