NYG 2025 Update: Team Lagos Gymnasts Win 9 Medals in Artistic Events

Team Lagos gymnasts delivered an outstanding performance at the ongoing 9th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, clinching a total of nine medals across artistic events.
Girls’ Artistic Events
Lagos’ star gymnast, Stephanie Onusiriuka, dominated the floor, winning three gold medals in the Vault, All-Round Best, and Beam categories. She also claimed a silver medal in the Floor event.
The girls’ team, comprising Onusiriuka, Promise Douye, Boluwatife Tudunu, and Patience Tamarawomomoemi, secured silver in the team event.
Boys’ Artistic Events
On the boys’ side, Emeka Sunday struck gold in the Floor event, while Adetutu Kareem bagged two bronze medals in the Vault and Best All-Round categories.
The Lagos boys’ team of Kareem, Sunday, Osozu Oluwatobi, and Amos Godspower earned silver in the team event.
