Ogbonna Stanley Completes Move to Racing Club Strasbourg

Nigeria continues to export footballing talent to Europe, with the latest move seeing Ogbonna Stanley of Sporting Supreme FC, Abuja, complete a switch to French Ligue 1 side Racing Club Strasbourg.
The highly rated youngster, who has been on the radar of scouts for his pace and composure in front of goal, officially signed his contract with the Alsace based club over the weekend.
Strasbourg officials described the move as part of their long term strategy of investing in young players from Africa, with Stanley tipped to develop into a key figure in the squad.
Speaking after the signing, Stanley expressed his excitement about the new chapter in France:
“It’s a dream come true. I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to give my best for Strasbourg.”
