Ogunmodede, Anas to Receive NPFL Recognition in Abuja

Two of the biggest names from the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season, Coach Daniel Ogunmodede and striker Yusuf Anas, will be specially recognised in Abuja on Tuesday, September 2.
The league’s Chairman, Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye, explained that the awards are part of the NPFL board’s drive to celebrate excellence and inspire greater performances across the league.
Yusuf Anas, who found the back of the net 17 times for Nasarawa United, finished as the league’s top scorer. On the sidelines, Ogunmodede masterminded Remo Stars’ historic run to their first ever NPFL championship title, marking a milestone in the club’s history.
Each recipient is expected to receive N1..5 million alongside a commemorative plaque as part of the recognition package.
