Nigeria’s Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala has been named the Saudi Women’s League Player of the Month for September 2025 after an outstanding run of form with Al Hilal.
The five time African Women’s Footballer of the Year delivered a brilliant performance across September, recording three goals and two assists in three matches. The Saudi Women’s League confirmed her award presentation on its official platforms, celebrating her instant impact in the competition.
Oshoala’s form carried into October as she grabbed the headlines in a thrilling league clash against Al Ittihad. Playing in Jeddah, the striker struck a stoppage-time winner (90+3’) to hand Al Hilal a dramatic 3–2 victory.
The match also featured another Nigerian star, Ashleigh Plumptre, who set up the equalizer for Al Ittihad in the 85th minute before Oshoala sealed the win at the death.
