Promise Meliga Makes Professional League Debut in Oslo Derby

Nigerian youngster Promise Meliga, a product of Beyond Limits Academy, has officially made his first professional league appearance for Vålerenga Oslo in the Norwegian Eliteserien.
The 19 year old winger came off the bench in the 72nd minute during Vålerenga’s heated 1-1 draw against KFUM Oslo in the much- anticipated Oslo Derby on Saturday.
Despite playing just 18 minutes, Meliga impressed with his attacking flair, pace, and direct play from the flanks, showing glimpses of the huge potential that earned him a move to Norway.
Speaking after the game, an elated Meliga expressed his excitement at reaching the career milestone.
“I feel very happy to make my first league debut. It’s a great opportunity, and I’m really excited and full of joy,” the Nigerian youngster said.
