Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha has signed his first professional contract with the club.
Ngumoha, who joined Liverpool’s Academy in September 2024 from Chelsea, has already gained first-team experience under manager Arne Slot. The teenager has made five senior appearances so far this season, including featuring in the Carabao Cup victory over Southampton.
The 18 year- od announced himself in the Premier League with a dramatic 100th-minute winner during Liverpool’s 3–2 triumph over Newcastle United. He also made his European debut at Anfield, coming off the bench in the Champions League clash with Atlético Madrid.
In addition to his senior involvement, Ngumoha has represented Liverpool across the U18, U19, and U21 sides during the 2024–25 campaign. His first-team bow came in January’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley.
Ngumoha is also an England U19 international and is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects at the club.
