Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi was the star of the show on Saturday as Fulham sealed a memorable 3-1 win over Brentford in the Premier League at Craven Cottage.
The Super Eagles midfielder struck in the 38th minute to bring Fulham level before turning provider two minutes later with a smart assist for Harry Wilson, swinging the momentum firmly in Marco Silva’s side’s favour. His commanding display earned him the Player of the Match award.
Iwobi’s energy, creativity and composure proved decisive as Fulham recovered from an early setback to take all three points in front of their home fans.
