Super Falcons’ Chiamaka Nnadozie Nominated for WSL Player of the Month

Nigeria’s Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has been nominated for the PFA Women’s Super League (WSL) Fans’ Player of the Month Award for September 2025, following a string of impressive performances for her new club, Brighton & Hove Albion.
Nnadozie, who joined Brighton from French side Paris FC earlier this year, has quickly made her mark in England’s top-flight league. The 23 year old shot stopper has recorded two clean sheets in five league appearances, helping the Seagulls to a solid start to their campaign.
Her commanding presence, sharp reflexes, and leadership have earned her widespread praise, with many fans describing her as one of the standout goalkeepers in the WSL this season. Nnadozie was also named Player of the Match on her debut against Aston Villa, where she kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw.
This nomination adds to her growing list of accolades, including being named Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
