Team Lagos made a strong statement at the ongoing 9th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, with an impressive performance in the traditional Ayo game.
The Lagos side secured two gold medals and one silver medal across different categories, excelling in the singles, mixed doubles, and male doubles events.
According to the Lagos State Traditional Sports Association, the medal presentation took place on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
