The Nationwide League One (NLO) has announced significant updates as it gears up for the 2026 season.

During the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Abuja on Friday, the league revealed a tentative kickoff date, introduced a new logo, and made important amendments to its rules and regulations.
Honourable Silas Agara, Chairman of the NLO’s Executive Board announced that the 2026 season will start on Friday, April 10, 2026.
A strategic partnership with Zkyte Technology was also announced while the rebranded NLO logo was unveiled to highlight a fresh visual identity for the league.
Meanwhile, the 2026 NLO Season will now adopt a Home-and-Away format, but all matches will still be played at the same designated center for each group. This new structure aims to enhance competitiveness while maintaining logistical balance for the participating clubs.
