Tolu Arokodare’s Coach Sacked As Wolves Part Ways With Vítor Pereira After Winless Streak

Wolverhampton Wanderers have parted ways with head coach Vítor Pereira following a dismal start to the Premier League season that has seen the club fail to win any of their opening ten games.
The decision was confirmed after a heavy 3-0 defeat to Fulham, a result that sealed Pereira’s fate and left Wolves bottom of the table with just two points.
Pereira, who coached Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare, had come under mounting pressure in recent weeks as performances continued to decline. Despite his attacking philosophy, Wolves struggled at both ends of the pitch, managing only four goals while conceding twenty pne in ten league outings.
In a statement posted on their official website, the club expressed gratitude for Pereira’s efforts but admitted results “fell below acceptable standards.” His entire coaching staff has also been dismissed.
Under-21 coach James Collins and Under-18 coach Richard Walker will take interim charge ahead of the crucial November 8 clash against Chelsea. British media reports suggest former manager Gary O’Neil and Rob Edwards are among the names being considered for the permanent role.
Pereira’s exit brings an abrupt end to a turbulent tenure, one that began with high hopes but quickly unraveled. For Arokodare and his teammates, the focus now shifts to rediscovering confidence and stability under new leadership as Wolves fight to climb off the bottom of the Premier League table.
