Young Nigerian striker Adozi Justin Chukwudi was in action for Borussia Mönchengladbach II as they secured a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Borussia Dortmund II in the Regionalliga West.
The promising forward, who came on for the final 20 minutes, made an immediate impact with his pace and creativity, constantly troubling the Dortmund defense and adding energy to Gladbach’s attack.
Speaking after the match, Adozi expressed optimism about his future with the club.
“I know with time I’ll become a full starter at my new club. I’m really happy to be at Borussia Mönchengladbach, and my main target is to make my first professional debut in the Bundesliga. I’ll keep working hard to achieve my goals,” he said.
