The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) is heating up quickly after just three weeks of action, with clubs already jostling for early dominance in the standings.
Remo Stars currently sit at the summit of the table with 7 points from 3 matches and a +2 goal difference, edging ahead of Wikki Tourists who also have 7 points but trail slightly on goal metrics. Bayelsa United and Warri Wolves follow closely in third and fourth place, both on 6 points, while Katsina United and Niger Tornadoes also make up the early pace-setters with 6 points each.
Traditional heavyweights Rivers United and Enyimba occupy eighth and ninth place respectively, each with 5 points. Meanwhile, Kwara United and Rangers International complete the top half of the table on 4 points apiece.
At the lower end, Plateau United are yet to register a point this season and sit at the bottom in 20th place with a 4 goal difference. Kun Khalifat FC and Kano Pillars also find themselves in the relegation zone with just one point each after three matches.
