The 24 year old striker, born on 25 December 2000, has built a reputation as a prolific goalscorer. Standing at 1.77m tall, Reuben has enjoyed stints with some of Nigeria’s top clubs including Rivers Angels, Ibom Angels, and Bayelsa Queens, before making moves abroad to BIIK Kazygurt (Kazakhstan), Hapoel Beer Sheva (Israel), and more recently Al Ahly Women (Egypt).
At Al Ahly, she made history by becoming the first woman to score for the club in the Women’s Cairo Derby against Zamalek, where she struck twice in a famous 2-1 victory. She also scored a hat-trick in an 11-0 thrashing of El Ghouna and finished her debut season in Egypt with 8 goals in 8 matches.
On the international stage, Reuben represented Nigeria at the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Her switch to Reinas de Bioko FC offers both the player and her new club an opportunity for growth, with the Equatorial Guinean side gaining a proven striker with continental experience, and Reuben is set for another big adventure in her career.
