Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have arrived safely in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The team was warmly received at the airport by former Super Eagles defender Taribo West, who delivered words of motivation and encouragement to the young players as they prepare to represent the nation on the global stage.
Heading into the tournament, the Flamingos are brimming with confidence after an impressive build-up campaign , playing 10 friendly matches, scoring 44 goals, and conceding none.
