Osimhen: Galatasaray Ready to Make Their Mark in Europe

Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has expressed strong confidence in the Turkish champions’ chances of making a deep run in this season’s UEFA Champions League, saying the squad has what it takes to surprise Europe.
Speaking after a recent training session, the Nigerian striker said he believes the quality within the Galatasaray camp and the unity among the players can propel them to achieve something special.
“When I look at the quality of our team and our coach, I believe we will be successful in the Champions League,” Osimhen said. “For me, it’s important that we approach every fixture with focus and hunger. We’re going to give everything to make sure we actualise our dream in Europe.”
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan last season but made it a permanent move this summer, has quickly become a key figure both on and off the pitch. His arrival has generated huge excitement among fans, with many seeing him as the missing piece in the club’s European ambitions.
The 26 year old also called for teamwork and discipline as the Istanbul giants prepare for their Champions League campaign.
“We have to work hard and fight for each other,” he added. “Our target is to go as far as possible, and we know what it means to represent Galatasaray on the big stage” he concluded.
