Nigeria’s men’s cricket team continued their impressive run at the ongoing West Africa Trophy in Abuja, defeating Zambia by 23 runs to record their fifth consecutive win of the tournament.
The Yellow Greens posted 158 for 8 in their 20 overs before bowling out Zambia for 135 in 19 overs, maintaining their unbeaten streak and strengthening their grip at the top of the standings.
The match, played at the Nigeria Cricket Federation Oval 1, showcased disciplined batting and clinical bowling from the hosts. Isaac Okpe delivered a standout all-round performance that earned him the Player of the Match award.
