Leeds United Move for Nigeria’s Christantus Uche as Wolves Talks Break Down

Leeds United are making a late move to sign Nigeria international Christantus Uche after Wolverhampton Wanderers failed to agree personal terms with the Getafe forward.
Wolves had been close to sealing a £17.5m deal for the 22-year-old, who scored four goals and provided seven assists in La Liga last season. But with talks stalling, Leeds have stepped in and are pushing hard to land the striker before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Getafe are open to selling Uche as they work to register new players, while other clubs including AC Milan remain interested.
Wolves are still monitoring the situation, but Leeds currently lead the race for the Nigerian attacker.
